This includes managing our relationships across the globe with both the millions of merchants who accept American Express and our partners in countries and territories that enable card acceptance, issuance, and innovation. American Express has two core customer types: Card Members who use our cards to make purchases, and businesses that accept them. In GMNS, we primarily focus on the businesses that accept American Express cards.
