Interns are exposed to Jefferies’ full range of products and leading industry expertise. Following an enriching orientation program, Interns begin working on their day-to-day responsibilities with support from colleagues serving as instructors and mentors throughout the internship program. Interns receive formal performance reviews. In addition to working on projects that incorporate research, analysis, and recommendations, Interns are challenged to think creatively, offer their input, and add value to the team from day one. Interns are expected to pursue their projects with excellence, a collaborative spirit, and the highest levels of integrity. ## What We Look For in a Candidate - Eager to make an impact to clients through real, hands-on work - Ability to multitask and manage a variety of projects simultaneously - Demonstrated professionalism and relationship management skills - Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Adaptable; able to work independently and as part of a team - Strong academic background; pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent program - Although a background in finance can be helpful, candidates who have studied a variety of disciplines are considered ## Desired Background and Skills - Undergraduate candidate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree - Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028 - Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Team player who excels working both independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels - Positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow - Superior judgment, professionalism, poise, ability to maintain confidentiality, and assertiveness - Strong verbal and written communication skills ## Work With Us – Opportunities in Compliance The Jefferies Compliance team provides Interns practical experience of what it is like to work in the Compliance department of a Broker-Dealer.
