## Work With Us – Opportunities in Treasury

Jefferies Corporate Treasury actively manages the firm’s funding, liquidity, and capital deployment by working closely with business units and senior management. The key objectives of Treasury’s framework are to support the successful execution of business strategies while ensuring sufficient liquidity through the business cycle and during periods of financial distress. The department also maintains Jefferies’ relationships with banks, other creditors, and rating agencies. All functions are performed within regulatory requirements and the firm’s risk objectives.

The core responsibilities managed by the Jefferies Treasury team include:

### Liquidity Risk Management

- Liquidity risk management is largely overseen by the Treasury Analytics Group.

- Funding and liquidity risk management is centered on measurements of liquidity risk in both market-wide and firm-specific stresses.

- Two primary metrics—Maximum Liquidity Outflow and Cash Capital—form the core basis for evaluating and managing the firm’s liquidity.

- Treasury Analytics facilitates weekly reporting of capital and liquidity buffer charges to the businesses.

- Provides daily cash usage figures for business units and daily reports on excess cash/liquidity buffer balances.

### Capital Planning, Raising & Allocation

- Capital management emphasizes Cash Capital and Maximum Liquidity Outflow.

- While equity is a component of cash capital, planning for capital needs, raising marginal capital, and allocating capital to business units are driven by firm-wide and business unit-level cash capital requirements.

- Incremental capital needs are met in longer-term debt markets.

- Analysis ensures equity is sufficient in the context of balance sheet risks (i.e., risk of loss) and risks within business units, as well as regulatory capital requirements of the firm’s principal regulated operating subsidiaries.

- Regulatory capital needs are met with a combination of equity and subordinated debt.

- Monitors the issuance and maturity of firm debt (medium and long-term funding).

### Bank Relations, Rating Agencies Relations, and Creditor Relations

- The Bank Relations Team manages bank and custodial relationships, including credit and trading relationships.

- Compiles and analyzes MIS reports to assess competitiveness of bank/sub-custodian fees.

- Supports periodic negotiations of bank fees and reviews/remedies operational inefficiencies.

- Manages the account opening and setup process internally and externally.

- Completes bank-required forms, including KYC requirements, and negotiates legal agreements.

- Maintains authorized signatory lists, resolutions, and associated corporate documentation.

- Serves as the primary internal contact for escalation of bank and/or custodian issues.

- Assists with new credit-related documentation and follow-ups with business units and banks, including credit marketing.

### Monitoring and Reporting

- Monitors and reports on Liquidity, Cash Usage, Risk, Balance Sheet, Intraday, and unfunded Commitments.

## Inclusion, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Reasonable Accommodations

Jefferies is committed to building a culture that provides opportunities for all employees regardless of differences and supports a workforce reflective of the communities where we work and live. The firm’s employment decisions are made without regard to protected characteristics under applicable law. Jefferies also provides reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities, as required by law.

## Compensation
