The emphasis is on rigorous research: examining industries, assessing long-term trends, asking thoughtful questions, and developing well-reasoned perspectives when answers are rarely obvious. You’ll share your own research approach, explore ideas in depth, and produce thoughtful analyses that contribute to Capital Group’s long-term investment thinking. CAP Associates explore real-world investment questions and contribute differentiated insights to our investment dialogue. ## How You’ll Contribute and Develop - **Ownership of Substantive Research:** Lead an end-to-end investment research project that rewards curiosity, intellectual discipline, and strong writing. Frame the question, conduct deep analysis, and present clear, well-supported conclusions to senior investors. - **Development Through Practice:** Strengthen your analytical reasoning, research process, and communication skills through hands-on work, mentorship, and targeted development sessions. - **Learn Alongside Experienced Investors:** Work closely with analysts and portfolio managers to understand how rigorous inquiry, qualitative and quantitative analyses, and independent thinking contribute to investment decisions. - **Join a Global Community of Thinkers:** Join a small, high-calibre cohort of Summer Associates across London, Los Angeles, and Singapore united by intellectual curiosity and an interest in investing. ## Who Should Apply?
