Posted 2026-06-24; applications close 2026-10-03. **Apply**: https://koch.avature.net/en_US/careers/JobDetail/Technician-Test/189472 Posted 2mo ago. ## Role details ## Reliability & Quality Test Technician **Company:** Molex **Location:** Singapore, South West **Career Field:** Engineering **Job Number:** 189472 ## What You Will Do - Conduct reliability/quality tests on products assigned by the supervisor, ensuring all tests are performed according to the test requirements and accurately. - Maintain proper documentation and meet ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. - Generate test reports and ensure databases are updated; file reports properly. - Maintain good general housekeeping of the reliability lab. - Keep all tested samples in good order in accordance with the sample retention policy. - Conduct any test or evaluation as required. - Perform monthly product audit tests. - Ensure test fixtures are kept and managed properly. - Perform other duties as assigned by Management. ## Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) - ITE or equivalent. - Electrical or Mechanical field. - 2 years of related work experience in Quality Assurance / test laboratory environment. ## What Will Put You Ahead - Experience working in a QA lab and reliability lab. - Cross-sectioning experience. - Ability to operate temperature and humidity chambers. ## Employment & Shift Information - **Contract length:** 1 year contract; shift rotation is required. - **Working days per week:** 5 days. - **Minimum age:** Must be at least 18 years old. - **Work rules (must strictly follow):** - Cannot work more than 12 hrs per day - Cannot work more than 60 hrs per week - Cannot work more than 6 days continuously - **Working hours:** - **Default/Day schedule:** 9 hr; 5-day work week (8.30am–5.30pm; Mon–Fri) - **8 hr / Day schedule:** 8.30am–5.30pm; Mon–Fri (as stated) - **Rotating shifts (as specified):** - 9hr - 2 Rotating Shift (2T2S): Morning Shift (8.30am–5.30pm; Mon–Fri) and Night Shift (11.30pm–8.30am; Mon–Fri) - 9hr - 3 Rotating Shift (3T3S): Morning Shift (8.00am–5.00pm; Mon–Fri), Afternoon Shift (2.00pm–11.00pm; Mon–Fri), Night Shift (11.00pm–8.00am; Mon–Fri) - 12hr - 2 Rotating Shift (2T2S): Morning Shift (8.30am–8.30pm; Mon–Thu), Night Shift (8.30pm–8.30am; Mon–Thu) - 12hr - 2 Rotating Shift (3T2S): Morning Shift (8.30am–8.30pm; As per working schedule), Night Shift (8.30pm–8.30am; As per working schedule) - **Work week definition:** A work week is defined from Monday to Sunday, where Saturday is considered as an off day and Sunday is rest day. For all working shifts except for 3T2S, Sunday shall be a rest day and all other non-working days shall be off days. For 3T2S shift, rest day and off days are as per working schedule. - **Paid public holidays (11/year):** New Year’s Day, Chinese New Year Day 1, Chinese New Year Day 2, Hari Raya Puasa, Good Friday, Labour Day, Hari Raya Haji, Vesak Day, National Day, Deepavali, Christmas Day. ## Compensation Information (As Provided) - **Basic Salary:** S$1250++ - **Transport Allowance:** S$70 - **Attendance Bonus:** S$50 - **Housing Allowance:** S$200 ## Overtime, Shift Allowance, and Annual Leave - **Shift allowance:** earnings will depend on shift schedule and management discretion. - **Overtime:** depends on shift schedule and management discretion; average 60 hours of OT per month. - **Overtime calculation (as stated):** - 1.5 Overtime: ((Basic Salary × 12 months) / 2210 hours) × OT hours × 1.5 - PH & Rest day Overtime: ((Basic Salary × 12 months) / 2210 hours) × OT hours × 2.0 - **Annual leave (calendar year basis):** - **Less than 4 years of service:** 10 working days of annual leave - **Return to home country:** permitted during approved vacation leave, holiday, or emergency situations without penalty, wage withholding, job loss, or other such measures (as stated). - **Uniforms:** employee will be provided with uniforms where required. - **Insurance:** employee will be covered under the Company’s insurance plan. ## Additional Terms (As Provided) - Salary payment is subject to withholding and/or deduction for Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions and any other required statutory contributions. - No recruitment fee, deposit, bonds, or other valuable personal possessions are required to keep the job, including any government levies (as stated). - Transportation and lodging expenses from home to host country are not paid by the employee.
