Interns participate in line of business–specific projects that directly impact and benefit Key’s business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking with Key teammates across all levels of the organization, a series of Learning Labs featuring internal and external speakers who provide insight on Key’s competitive landscape, financial wellness, and professional development best practices, and an assigned mentor who shares knowledge, experience, and advice. ## Real Estate Capital KeyBank Real Estate Capital (KBREC) is one of the nation’s leading providers of commercial, healthcare, and multifamily real estate finance. Its broad financing options, integrated platform, and deep industry experience give clients what they need to meet their short- and long-term goals. ## Real Estate Capital Internship Program: Income Property Group (IPG) At this office location, interns will work in the Income Property Group (IPG). - **Income Property Group (IPG)** – A national platform that provides project finance solutions for new development, acquisition/repositioning of existing assets, and the purchase/long-term hold of stable assets to regional and national private real estate owners. Because the Summer internship program is a direct pipeline for full-time Analyst positions, it offers exceptional potential for interns to return upon graduation to start a Real Estate career. ## Work Assignments - Researching economic conditions and market trends - Developing strategic contact databases - Performing neighborhood, industry, and prospective tenant research - Conducting field research and preparing marketing materials - Completing a Capstone Project leveraging learnings from the Internship - Performing other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the Real Estate Capital team ## Core Competencies - Strong communication skills - Effective time management - Intellectual curiosity - Critical thinking - Team player - Synthesize/interpret information - Financial acumen ## Qualifications - Must have completed at least two years toward a four-year, undergraduate degree program with coursework in finance, real estate, or a related field; anticipated graduation in or before May 2028 - Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.3 GPA) - Relevant experience preferred - Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities ## Compensation and Benefits This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $27 per hour. Compensation also includes a $2,000 Summer Internship sign-on bonus.
