## Contract Officer – Business Control Dept, APD (HKG) – Treasury Operations

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) is one of the major international banks and a leading arranger of specialized financial products worldwide. The Bank’s Hong Kong Branch is seeking high-calibre individuals with long-term career objectives to apply for the following position:

## Job Duties & Responsibilities

  
- Process and check all clerical work in treasury market transactions and perform other administrative duties, including credit facility and counterparty ID registration in operating systems.
  
- Perform routine operational duties, such as preparing and checking payments, confirming trade details with counterparties, and posting account entries.
  
- Prepare and check treasury market transactions to ensure compliance with Head Office and regulatory requirements.
  
- Answer enquiries on treasury products settlement as required.
  
- Handle other ad hoc duties as assigned.

## Requirements

  
- HKDSE Level or above; degree holders with less experience will also be considered.
  
- 1 year of relevant experience in treasury market settlement.
  
- Knowledge of operating RTGS-SWIFTNet and SWIFT Alliance systems.
  
- Good PC knowledge in MS Office applications; VBA, MS Excel Macro, and Alteryx would be an advantage.
  
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
- Good command of both English and Chinese.
