We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers, and find a place where they belong. ## Overall Role The Regional Engineering Manager will be part of the Workplace Operations team responsible for supporting the engineering strategy across the region for the client’s multi-site property portfolio. The role ensures compliance with JLL, client, and statutory requirements, and is responsible for technical and contractual quality assurance on behalf of the client to ensure managed buildings across APAC are compliant with country, regional, global compliance, and technical standards. The Regional Engineering Manager reports to the Regional Engineering Director (RED). The role must ensure services are positioned to deliver efficient, effective, and consistent operations to meet both legislative and contractual obligations. ## Major Responsibilities - Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting on colocation and corporate real estate Data Centre metrics and operations - Support the Energy Manager in tracking energy-saving initiatives across the corporate real estate portfolio aligned to the Sustainability Management Plan (SMP) - Work closely with sub-regional engineering teams on implementation and governance of engineering initiatives - Provide change management technical quality assurance support, including pre-work documentation review and support change management submissions - Track and support power-down planning across the region, including liaising with global teams on event schedule coordination - Attend weekly meetings with internal Lines of Business on Global Real Estate change activities and their impact to business - Support major works, including small works and capitalized projects - Coordinate capacity and utilization, and review and report for office tenancy, Data Centre, and server rooms - Support and track engineering regulatory compliance management - Provide technical reporting submissions for portfolio objectives, regular meetings, and Data Centre performance - Support governance of drawings, OEM information, and SOPS/EOPS for in-country teams - Support engineering standardization tasks across Asia Pacific - Support account engineering playbook compliance - Provide contract renewal governance of the technical scope with critical services vendors - Conduct quality assurance checks of completed JLL-delivered projects - Perform governance reviews of planned JLL installation, commissioning, and programming of new or replaced equipment to ensure plans, designs, scopes, and goals are accurate - Review maintenance reports to ensure maintenance is conducted appropriately and performance issues are followed up - Responsible for audit preparation, delivery, and attestations of compliance for both JLL and the client - Review proposed capital expenditure building services projects from budgeting through delivery, including critical asset and component lifecycle management - Undertake ad hoc tasks as required by the Regional Engineering Director ## Key Skills - Ability to identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiency and improvements, and implement agreed solutions - Drive innovation, thought leadership, and industry knowledge - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills - Ability to develop and explain complex operational management information to senior audiences - Resilience with a high focus on achieving goals - High energy and thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments - Customer centricity - Comfortable working in a challenging environment as part of a team, including managing incidents and service failures - Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and meet changing client needs and requirements - Strong analytical, organization, and administration skills ## Experience - Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering - 1–3 years of relevant engineering management experience, including Data Centre management preferred (or other relevant experience considered) - Thorough understanding of Data Centre building services design and Data Centre engineering management - Experience working in Asia Pacific desired, specifically North Asia ## Location On-site – Singapore ## Application Encouragement If this job description resonates with you, you are encouraged to apply even if you do not meet all of the requirements.
