## Role details

## Role Responsibilities

  
- Work on a team focused on a wide range of tax specialty areas, including income tax accounting, accounting methods and periods, corporate taxation, federal credits and incentives, individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, pass-through entity taxation, private client services, and not-for-profit organizations.
  
- Complete tax planning and research.
  
- Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
  
- Understand tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.

## Basic Qualifications

  
- 90 credit hours completed.
  
- Working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
  
- Accounting major.
  
- Travel to assigned client locations is required. Must have access to, and the ability to arrange for, reliable transportation to those locations.
  
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.

## Preferred Qualifications

  
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  
- Ability to work effectively on a team.
  
- Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

## Compensation

Compensation Range: $36 - $43 per hour
