Tokio Marine HCC (TMHCC) is a leading specialty insurer with deep expertise in its chosen lines of business, an established track record, and a solid balance sheet—evaluating and managing risk with a focus on delivering on commitments and providing innovative solutions to clients. ## Job Purpose Support the Head of Treaty Reinsurance Operations in the day-to-day smooth running of the Treaty Reinsurance operations. Provide ideas to enhance the underwriting process, and liaise closely with Corporate Teams (Innovation, I.T, BI, and Operational Change) to ensure changes are implemented smoothly. ## Key Responsibilities - Support the Head of Treaty Reinsurance Operations in the day-to-day running and development of the Treaty Reinsurance Team’s reporting and underwriting systems (Corporate and Internal) alongside various London Market teams. - Manage overdue premium collections in collaboration with Credit Control and Finance. - Manage the day-to-day running of Aggregate Exposures, ensuring Corporate 1–250 Authorities are adhered to, working with the Exposure Management Team when required. - Support the Head of Treaty Reinsurance Operations with Large Loss reporting. - Support the administration of reinsurance placements. - Support Underwriters to ensure Line of Business (LOB) Bordereaux are up to date and complete, liaising with the Head of Treaty Reinsurance Operations when required. - Liaise with I.T, BI, Innovation, and London Market Operational Change Teams to ensure corporate enhancements are communicated and implemented smoothly, and that improvements by the Treaty Reinsurance Team adhere to corporate measures and standards. - Act as the main point of contact for PEGA, SBS, and DQ-Pro updates and changes, ensuring information is relayed to the team clearly and concisely. - Keep up to date on Artificial Intelligence and how it can be used within the reinsurance industry. - Provide general administrative support to Treaty Underwriters, including: - Producing renewal reports and other ad-hoc reports using ERS/SBS. - Assisting with ad-hoc underwriting and team projects. - Assisting with ad-hoc PEGA tasks. ## Skills and Experience ### Essential - Experience working in an underwriting operations role. - High level IT/BI skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including SQL and VBA). - Strong numerical skills. - Highly focused with strong organisational skills. - Team player with excellent relationship management skills. - Ability to work under pressure. - Calm individual with excellent communication skills. ### Desirable - Knowledge of AI capabilities and their application in underwriting environments. - Pega and ERS knowledge. - Knowledge of reinsurance contract wordings. ## What We Offer The Tokio Marine HCC Group of Companies offers a competitive salary and employee benefit package.
