## Wealth Analyst (Korea Focused) – Hong Kong (Hybrid)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Wealth team within Marsh’s People and Investments business. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to work at least three days per week in the office.

## What You Can Expect

  
- As a Wealth consultant, you help clients—including sponsors of pension funds, endowments, other institutional asset pools, and retirement pensions—achieve their objectives by advising on appropriate strategies and policies. You will provide expertise on investment-related topics such as strategic asset allocation, sustainable investing, asset liability modeling, and risk strategy.
  
- The Korea-focused Wealth Analyst will be based in Hong Kong and support the investment business from technical, analytical, and operational perspectives. You will provide high-quality advisory and client solution services in English and Korean, and support consultants in delivering investment advisory projects, client work, and business development activities.
  
- You will be self-motivated and work under the guidance of senior team members.

## We Will Count on You to

  
- Support business development initiatives to expand business opportunities and the client base.
  
- Participate in investment advisory projects across all asset classes, including private markets, together with the consulting project team as a senior investment analyst.
  
- Join the full cycle of client projects through independent research, data analysis using relevant methodologies, drafting written reports, and attending client meetings.
  
- Assist in client portfolio management analysis, including asset allocation, investment manager selection, fund performance, and risk and attribution analysis, using Mercer’s proprietary analytics tools, internal databases, and third-party resources.
  
- Develop compelling, customized materials and responses to address prospective client requirements and support the team’s business development in a timely manner.
  
- Handle client inquiries from investment technical and operational perspectives by collaborating with specialists across regions.
  
- Take ownership of assigned work to deliver well-polished deliverables with minimal changes after peer review.
  
- Communicate client requests clearly and provide suggestions on how those requests can be addressed—so the wider Mercer team can execute accordingly.

## What You Need to Have

  
- A strong academic track record and 1+ year of proven experience in consulting, banking, financial services, and/or asset management.
  
- Strong communication, analytical, and technical skills, including a deep understanding of Korean clients and their organizational culture. You should know how to manage expectations and experience with Mercer.
  
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including comfort with conducting complex comparative analysis using large data sets efficiently.
  
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a global firm environment with strong ownership and an active teamwork mindset.
  
- Strong organizational skills, task prioritization, attention to detail, sound judgment, and independent problem-solving abilities.
  
- Experience writing or summarizing research reports for market analysis in a professional capacity will support your application.
  
- A team-player attitude with the ability to build relationships. Strong self-initiative and curiosity in financial services, including a drive to seek knowledge, test ideas, and contribute to the team.
  
- A positive attitude and strong personal planning and capacity management to prepare for foreseeable tasks and understand capacity for unforeseeable tasks.
  
- Ability to break down complex problems and propose solutions. Capability to complete work independently in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner.
  
- High attention to detail, organized working style, and ability to multitask.
  
- Strong command of MS Office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook), with strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  
- Completed or near completion of a professional qualification related to investment/asset management and/or actuarial field.
  
- Language requirements: native Korean and fluent English, both written and verbal.
