You’ll join a team reimagining healthcare in the U.S. and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can. ### About the role We are seeking an exceptional AI-Native Data Analyst I to join our Reporting team. The team delivers insightful, high-quality analysis to clients on their healthcare use and their engagement with the Garner product. We support both high-volume automated reports and innovative custom analysis for specific client situations. The Data Analyst I produces automated reports for Garner’s clients and prospects covering engagement with Garner and healthcare utilization. You will also partner with externally-facing relationship managers to customize reports for specific client/prospect questions. In this role, you will deeply understand and improve the full suite of existing automated reports, consistently identifying and implementing ways to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client impact. ### Where you will work This role is based in our New York City office (Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. ## What you will do - **Own client-facing analysis end-to-end:** Build, maintain, and produce key reports for clients across the data ecosystem, from scoping to delivery in partnership with senior team members. - **Be a thought partner to client-facing teams:** Use deep understanding of clients and the Garner product to partner with stakeholders, answering questions through analytically robust reports and presentations. - **Build scalable report automation:** Collaborate with the data engineering team to create maintainable automation for an ever-evolving suite of client reporting. - **Develop deep domain expertise:** Build strong understanding of your analytical domain to independently drive meaningful insights. - **Close reporting gaps:** Identify gaps between client needs and current reports, and proactively develop new insights to fill them. - **Raise the bar on data practices:** Advocate for best practices in visualization, documentation, metric consistency, and stakeholder communication across teams. - **Answer high-stakes, ambiguous questions:** Run deep-dive investigations into complex business problems—the kind of analysis leadership uses to make strategic decisions. ## The ideal candidate has - **1–2 years of experience** in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Consulting, or a similar data-centric role. - **Cross-functional translation:** Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into data-driven solutions and work effectively with non-technical stakeholders. - **Autonomy and ownership:** Comfortable working independently and owning reporting projects end-to-end. - **Automation mindset:** Attention to detail with a bias toward automation and scalability over one-off work. - **AI nativity:** Comfort with and excitement about building analytics, building dashboards, and validating results by harnessing the power of AI agents. - **Making data accessible:** A track record of using data analysis to communicate business solutions. - **Modern data stack:** Hands-on experience with Snowflake (or a comparable cloud warehouse) and SQL at scale; experience with dbt is strongly preferred. Individual compensation depends on factors including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws.
