Industry coverage includes industrials, financial sponsors, consumer and retail, healthcare, financial institutions, energy, and technology, media and telecom. Senior investment banking professionals are expected, over time, to generate a balanced mix of M&A and debt and equity capital raising of $7 million to $30 million, subject to the attributes of their sector coverage. In addition, they are expected to “sell the bank” by appropriately positioning the bank’s treasury and payment solutions product suite, as well as floating rate and F/X, private wealth, insurance, and other services. Senior investment banking professionals are also expected to serve the bank’s corporate banking and commercial clients with strategic advisory and the aforementioned traditional investment banking services in partnership with the primary Commercial and Corporate Banking coverage professionals. ## Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Works closely with senior CIB professionals. - Performs assigned duties with some independence, including due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, and research and presentation development. - Serves as a member of merger and acquisition and capital raising transaction teams, providing credit underwriting support, drafting information memoranda, and developing management and investor presentations. ## Required Qualifications - BA/BS degree. - Proven analytical ability and attention to detail. - Solid leadership and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - 1 year of related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program. ## Preferred Qualifications - 2 years of related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program. ## Compensation The annual base salary for this position is **$105,000**. ## Benefits All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position. Truist offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan. Teammates also receive no less than 10 days of vacation (prorated based on date of hire and by full-time or part-time status) during their first year of employment, along with 10 sick days (also prorated), and paid holidays.
