## SGX Group Internship Program – Listing Compliance

This internship programme is full-time. Interns are involved in real-time work from Day 1.

## Short Overview on the Unit/Team

The Listing Compliance team monitors listed companies’ compliance with continuing listing obligations.

## Learning Objectives

  
- Acquire knowledge of listing rules.
  
- Learn how to apply listing rules and tailor them to the specific circumstances of each case.
  
- Develop an understanding of various corporate actions such as placements, rights issues, acquisitions and disposals.
  
- Develop analytical and soft skills, including interpersonal skills, teamwork and presentation competency.

## Job Description

  
- Report to the Team Leader and Head, Listing Compliance, and manage a portfolio of listed issuers.
  
- Monitor compliance with listing rules and liaise with issuers and professionals on regulatory matters.
  
- Process simple to moderate corporate actions within the relevant timeframe.
  
- Review financial statements and annual reports.
  
- Attend meetings related to portfolio companies and maintain minutes of such discussions.
  
- Provide support to team members.

## Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  
- Meticulous attention to detail.
  
- Some knowledge in Accounting or Finance.
  
- Interest in reading.
  
- Good command of English, including the ability to write short memorandums.
  
- Analytical thinking.
  
- Good presentation skills.
