## Fall 2026 Internship

The Fall College Internship Program is a paid co-op/internship experience that provides undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to attend development workshops, network, and be part of our company. Our college interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored under their respective managers, and continue to develop throughout the entire fall. Through the internship program, interns may attend development workshops focused on key business concepts. Interns may work within skill-based tracks across Information Technology, Business Administration, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and other non-technical and/or technical degree programs.

  
- Paid internship/co-op.
  
- May reside in either a technical or non-technical area.
  
- Housing is not provided as part of our internships/co-ops.

## Essential Accountabilities

  
- Specific duties will vary with assignment; divisional callouts are listed below.
  
- Explore scaling existing models to better identify and stratify complex chronic conditions and Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs), enabling proactive and data-driven population health features.
  
- Extract and leverage clinical data.
  
- Enhance and optimize traditional NLP and ML solutions with robust AI to significantly boost predictive accuracy and ensure robust coding compliance to CMS.
  
- Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects.
  
- Responsible for work assignments and possible responsibilities that vary according to business need, departmental opportunities, and student qualifications.
  
- Perform non-technical and/or technical work across a broad range of business-related projects.
  
- Create and deliver a presentation upon completion of the internship.
  
- Consistently demonstrate high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies' mission and values, adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct, and leading to the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.
  
- Maintain high regard for member privacy in accordance with corporate privacy policies and procedures.
  
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

## Minimum Qualifications

  
- Desired majors include Data Science, AI Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar degree program.
  
- Preferred skills or experience with programming, statistics, advanced modeling, Natural Language Processing (NLP), deep learning, agentic AI, and/or LLMs.
  
- High school diploma and proof of continuous college enrollment (enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program).
  
- Must be in good academic standing.
  
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences and interface with staff at all levels.
  
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and deliver high-quality work products.
  
- Ability to work well in a team and establish strong working relationships with peers.
  
- Ability to multitask and prioritize with strong attention to detail.
  
- Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment.
  
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  
- Demonstrates strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
- Proactive work approach that demonstrates creativity and flexibility in completing assigned tasks.
  
- Commitment to continuous improvement of skills and team functioning.
  
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and on intra- and inter-departmental teams where needed.

## Physical Requirements

  
- Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse, and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.
  
- Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.

## Compensation Range(s)

  
- Level I: Minimum $18.00 - Maximum $20.00
  
- Level II: Minimum $21.00 - Maximum $23.00

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill, and education as they relate to the position’s minimum qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects one component of the total rewards package. Other components may include participation in group health and/or dental insurance, retirement plan, wellness program, paid time away from work, and paid holidays.
