## Complex Claims Adjuster, A&H

## How You Will Create an Impact

### Functional Responsibilities

  
- Assess and process payment for on GL value based claims.
  
- Perform administrative work, including processing, coordinating, and managing incoming and outgoing claim documents.
  
- Assist with entering and updating key data and information in claims systems, computing claims, processing payments, and supporting recovery claims (including digestion).
  
- Assist with KIV files.
  
- Assist in running reports/claim statistics for stakeholders.
  
- Carry out ad hoc administrative duties.
  
- Demonstrate a high level of competency in systems use and e-filing documentation into electronic folders.
  
- Support continuous improvement in claim file handling through feedback and assistance.
  
- Maintain adherence to best-practice claims protocols aligned with global best practices.

### Accountabilities

  
- Enter data accurately and process assigned claims and/or administrative work in a timely manner.
  
- Communicate effectively within the team.
  
- Follow AIG internal claims SOP and global best practices.

## What You’ll Need to Succeed

  
- Minimum diploma qualification in any field, and basic insurance certifications (e.g., BCP and Comm GI).
  
- Preferably some administrative experience.
  
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  
- Time management skills, including the ability to manage and prioritize workload and diary schedules.
  
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  
- Preferably basic knowledge of legal/regulatory matters and litigation/procedural requirements for the line of business.
  
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

AIG values in-person collaboration, so team members are primarily expected to work in the office.
