We invest in our people and strive to imprint our CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Responsibility, and Excellence. **Positions are located in** New York, NY. ## Global Wealth Management (GWM) Global Wealth Management (GWM)’s mission is to create industry-leading experiences for financial intermediaries and their individual investor clients while providing a strong contribution to PIMCO’s overall business results. GWM is responsible for business strategy and client coverage for the intermediated individual investor segment of the market. Converge includes RIAs, family offices, banks/brokerage firms, trust banks, platforms, and sub-advisory relationships. ## Eligibility: You’re eligible to apply if you: - Are pursuing an undergraduate degree. - Can begin full-time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2028 and August 2028. - Are enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester (August 2027 – December 2027). - Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university. - Are business proficient in English. ## What you’ll excel at as a Global Wealth Management Account Analyst if you: - Show strong interest in the financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance. - Can articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing. - Can develop client relationships into strategic partnerships and have interest in a client-facing career within Finance. - Are personable, ethical, collaborative, organized, flexible, high energy, self-starter, accountable, and humble. - Can multi-task and handle several projects, delivering completed work within expected timelines. - Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel. - Have Finance/capital markets coursework (recommended, not required). - Demonstrate curiosity and experience in using new emerging technologies and AI tools in work or school projects to solve problems and drive better outcomes. ## Alternatives - The GWM Alternatives Group is focused on educating, servicing, and growing distribution of PIMCO’s alternatives solutions across wealth markets. - The summer analyst intern will contribute to the team by supporting the group’s key strategic initiatives. **Note:** While eligibility requirements are not flexible, you are encouraged to apply even if you do not possess 100% of the desired skills outlined above. ## The PIMCO Internship Experience - The PIMCO Internship is a 10-week program running from early June to mid-August, with the expectation that you will be available for the full duration. - During Week 1, you will participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training to build skills, knowledge, and relationships to prepare you for success. - Alongside your colleagues, you will participate in PIMCO’s Global Month of Volunteering. - Join a variety of cross-divisional education, networking, and social events. - Your supervisor, peer mentor, senior leaders, and team will offer guidance and mentorship throughout the summer. - You will gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools from day one, with training and resources to help you build future-ready skills and make an impact. - You will receive feedback at mid- and end-of-summer as part of a formal review process to help you stay on track toward your goals. - Interns receive competitive compensation, along with a transition bonus to help with relocation to one of our office locations. ## Interview Process - After you apply, we will conduct an initial review of your resume. - If selected to move forward, you will complete a cognitive assessment and may complete a one-way video interview to showcase your interests, skills, and personality. - After completing the assessment and one-way video interview, you will participate in a final round of live video interviews, typically including both behavioral and technical questions.
