Through ideation and collaboration, we identify new opportunities and deliver end-to-end solutions from design to development, enabling our clients to meet evolving customer demands. ## Your Role in the Village As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will work closely with our project and client teams to identify existing pain points or growth opportunities. Using these insights, you will design new user-friendly products or services. ## What You Will Do - Collaborate with project and product managers, UI/UX designers, and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience. - Support the execution of all visual design stages from concept to final handoff for product development. - Support defining the visual direction and design requirements. - Help unify the design language and enhance digital experiences. - Stay up to date with cutting-edge technologies and UI trends. - Bring proposed solutions to life through user personas and journey mapping. - Support the product development process by writing user stories, creating test scripts, and performing user testing across mobile apps and web platforms. - Support the co-innovation process between clients, in-house designers and development teams, and external partners (e.g., start-ups and/or solution providers), including UI/UX design related activities: - Conducting user-driven immersion and requirements gathering. - Ideating and designing the product concept. - Testing and validating the solution prototype. - Refining the solution prototype. - Documenting all design-related deliverables (e.g., immersion findings, design/brand/style guidelines, functional specification documents). ## Ideal Candidate - Strong interest in driving change and digital innovation. - Highly driven, “can-do” attitude. - Creative approach to problem-solving. - Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently. - Highly collaborative team player. - Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. - Understanding of human-centered design methodologies. - Experience in user interface design and rapid prototyping. - Foundational understanding of design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. ## Applying to this role This Advisory - Consulting, Digital Village (Design) | Off-Cycle Internship (Jan 2027 to Jun 2027) role at KPMG runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
