The team helps clients navigate the construction industry by mitigating issues, advising on strategy, and supporting negotiations across the project lifecycle. The MPA team works globally with other KPMG offices to support international clients with expert guidance. The team focuses on addressing core business challenges, including managing schedules, increasing revenues, optimizing investment into assets, and monitoring OPEX and CAPEX spending. MPA also supports assessment and performance improvement across asset management, including strategies for both new investments and operating facilities. MPA helps companies establish asset management strategic frameworks, deliver training for client teams, and provide consultancy aligned with global best practices across transport, utilities, and real estate. The team also provides digital analysis solutions and global benchmarking based on prior engagements to help clients achieve their goals. ## Internship Overview As an intern, you will learn and contribute in the following areas with guidance from your supervisors and team members: - Provide strategic and commercial advice across the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects for corporate and public sector clients, applying engineering judgment and learnings. - Work in a dynamic, team environment on infrastructure projects across various sectors. - Assist with proposal preparation. - Apply learnings from your engineering degree to the Built-Tech solutions being developed for clients. - Liaise with KPMG business units locally and globally. ## Available Internship Projects ### (1) Energy Efficiency Database and Investment Matching Platform Development The objective of this opportunity is to create an online, web-based regional platform that hosts standardized tools and accelerators for assessing energy efficiency, carbon emission reduction, and financing matchmaking to accelerate adoption of energy-efficient and low-carbon buildings in the ASEAN region. The platform will serve stakeholders including building owners/developers, investors (such as financial institutions), ESCOs, and technology companies. It will provide a centralized energy efficiency database to manage user profiles and enable seamless interaction. ### (2) Procurement Fraud Risk Analytics & Application in Oil/Gas Industry KPMG aims to develop and customize a comprehensive, user-friendly system to detect potential fraud actions in the procurement process. The system is designed to enhance organizational integrity and help prevent substantial financial and reputational damage.
