We support clients in Singapore on matters of public interest, including engagements involving fraud, financial crime, and complex regulatory or commercial issues. ## How We Help Clients - Fraud, misconduct, and corruption investigations - Assessing and improving clients’ AML controls and financial crime compliance - Commercial disputes - Regulatory compliance - Managing risk in buying or selling a business, intellectual property, and contract governance - Preventing and detecting fraud and financial crime We also deploy technology tools to help clients manage large volumes of data and documentation, support disclosure of important material, and highlight fraud, weaknesses, and business opportunities from within corporate data. ## Intern Service Lines Our Interns/Associates will be part of one of the following service lines: Investigations and Disputes Advisory, AML, Data Analytics, or Forensic Technology. Associates can expect to gain experience in forensic engagements, expand their professional network through participation in Forensic practice development, learn engagement methodology, and support stakeholder management and project delivery. ## Associate Learning and Exposure - Gain hands-on experience across forensic engagements, including fact-finding reviews, fraud and misconduct allegations, assessment of AML frameworks and systems, customer due diligence remediation, backlog reviews for transaction monitoring, and screening alerts. - Support complex investigations using digital forensic procedures and advanced data analytics. - Grow your network through participation in Forensic practice development with senior management, including drafting proposals, thought leadership, and coordinating team-building activities. - Gain insights into the methodology and approach used in conducting forensic engagements. - Understand stakeholder management and project delivery. - Take responsibility for engagement planning and keep senior team members informed of significant developments and engagement progress. - Learn how to build and maintain relationships with client contacts after project completion. ## Day-to-Day Scope (Non-Tech Stream) **Investigations/Disputes Advisory; AML; FATCA/CRS** ### Forensic Investigation and Dispute Advisory As an Intern in the Investigations and Dispute Advisory service line, your scope of work will include: - Hands-on experience conducting reviews of documents and devices as part of investigation and dispute advisory procedures. - Insights into the methodology and approach used in conducting fraud investigations and dispute advisory services. - Understanding stakeholder management and project delivery. ### AML As an Intern in the AML service line, your scope of work will include: - **Tackle financial crimes with hands-on experience:** Collaborate with the AML/CFT team to support financial institutions and companies in their fight against financial crimes. Participate in trainings using consistent methodologies to deliver value on engagements. - **Stay at the forefront of stakeholder management:** Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks and respond to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders. Build understanding of stakeholder management and project delivery. - **Stay ahead with research:** Assist in researching the latest technologies and emerging trends in money laundering and terrorism financing.
