We design and implement strategies and technologies to deliver Total Experience (TX), enabling organisations to create cohesive, outstanding experiences that resonate with customers and drive value. We also explore AI-driven solutions to uncover deeper insights, deliver personalised experiences, and future-proof customer strategies. ## Role: Intern – Customer Team As an Intern in our Customer team, you will gain exposure in: - **Customer Experience Strategy:** Design, assess, recommend, and implement customer experiences that deliver business value using KPMG expertise and best-in-class principles. This includes analyzing Voice of Customer and Voice of Business by collecting large volumes of customer data, identifying actionable insights, and advising on industry-specific strategies. - **CRM Implementation:** Support enterprise-wide transformations that bridge functional silos and enable large-scale digital initiatives. These projects focus on centralising customer data and enhancing interactions to improve satisfaction, retention, and growth through personalised, data-driven engagement. - **Marketing Strategy:** Help clients unlock the full potential of their marketing investments by developing strategic roadmaps and actionable recommendations to optimise operations, improving efficiency, innovation, and measurable ROI. ## Key Responsibilities - Work in client engagements related to customer experience strategy, CRM implementation, and digital marketing. - Contribute to data gathering, research, and analysis to support proposals and project deliverables. - Work with the project team to analyse business processes and requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement and streamlining. - Support the consolidation, design, preparation, and analysis of reports and findings in a clear, logical, and concise manner. - Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders while actively identifying opportunities to enhance and expand collaboration. ## What You Can Expect to Gain - Be involved in a wide range of advisory projects across industries. - Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and experts within KPMG and on the client side. - Engage with cross-functional teams within the Advisory department to support projects in other domains. - Receive direct coaching from experienced team members and guidance from managers to accelerate learning and support your transition into the role. - Stay up to date with trends and market information related to customer experience strategy and digital transformation. - Support business development efforts to grow the Customer practice with Senior Management, including proposals and thought leadership/white papers. - Participate in practice development through in-house activities such as rec club, sports teams, or other initiatives that enhance people’s experience. ## Qualifications & Profile - Excellent academic background, with at least a Bachelor’s degree. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data and break down and solve problems using quantitative and qualitative thinking. - Excellent foundational skills, including written and verbal communication skills in English, impactful client presence, and strong facilitation and presentation skills. - Strong team spirit with excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with colleagues and clients. - Highly motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and projects. - Committed to learning and growth, with an expectation to pursue relevant certifications (including Salesforce, Microsoft, and other platforms) as part of project requirements. - Interest in the latest technology developments such as AI and Data & Analytics. - Prior experience in management consulting, technology consulting, customer experience/marketing strategy, or IT is preferred. - Native or business fluency in English is required; fluency in APAC language(s) is valuable. ## Applying to this role This Advisory - Consulting, Customer Transformation | Off-Cycle Internship (Jan 2027 to Jun 2027) role at KPMG runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
