SFS partners across the Global Banking & Markets franchises on unconventional financing solutions for strategic situations, including private and emerging financial innovations. The team leads the origination, structuring, and development of both on-principal risk and syndicated structures where traditional markets are not the best fit or where a theme is developing. The team is client-centric, working as complementary professionals to Trading, Banking Coverage, and Capital Markets teams. ## Job Summary As an Analyst in the Strategic Financing Solutions (SFS) team, you will be a key player in business strategy and execution. You will participate in the full cycle of transactional execution, including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, preparing and presenting internal committee memoranda, and client presentations. You will work in a dynamic and busy Capital Markets environment, supporting senior team members in originating and structuring corporate financing transactions across product areas. You will support and manage all aspects of the SFS business, including structure analysis, tracking opportunities, evaluating market developments, and developing marketing content. You will cover a broad range of industries and sponsors, and coordinate with various trading desks across asset classes. ## Job Responsibilities - Develop an understanding of and analyze transaction structures across a wide range of asset classes, including Digital Infrastructure ABS, Preferred Equity Transactions, Bespoke Loans, Whole Business Securitizations, and others. - Analyze and understand corporate financing needs and assets to identify revenue opportunities. - Prepare materials for client calls and meetings, including presentations on new products and ongoing market updates; Analysts/Associates are expected to participate in client calls and meetings. - Facilitate client business by responding to inquiries and pitching new ideas. - Manage the execution process by coordinating among sales, trading, Banking, Risk, legal, and other involved parties (compliance, business management, operations, etc.). - Work with rating agencies, lawyers, internal control functions, and all deal parties to execute transactions. - Develop new products and platforms to deepen the bank’s product offerings in the credit and loan financing space. - Track industry and market developments regarding product offerings. ## Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - 1+ years in a markets-related transactional role; prior work experience in an investment banking front office role or a related role. - Strong quantitative skills and intellectual curiosity. - Quick learner with a desire to learn products across asset classes and industries. - Team player able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. - Strong understanding of corporate finance. - Understands the transaction cycle and process steps and is execution-oriented. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders across other lines of business. - Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently. - Enthusiasm, creativity, and excellent interpersonal skills. - Personal integrity, initiative, and leadership qualities. - High focus on work quality and attention to detail. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. ## Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - Licenses 79, 63 preferred. ## About J.P.
