Analysts receive in-depth exposure to a specific Human Resources function while gaining a broader understanding of the division. ## Training Program The Summer Program includes, but is not limited to, one week of Firmwide and HR-specific training. This includes exposure to each of the functional areas and senior management. Throughout the summer, there are various trainings, speaker series, networking opportunities, and educational events to fully immerse you in Human Resources and the Firm’s culture. ## Role and Responsibilities - Partner with different HR teams to implement programs and initiatives designed to attract, retain, and motivate employees. - Create reports to provide compensation and headcount analytics to management. - Collaborate across HR teams to evaluate and reengineer processes to drive greater operational efficiency. - Support client delivery teams through business unit partnerships, including assisting in employee relations investigations and responding to employee inquiries regarding Firm policies and procedures. - Apply AI or other technical knowledge to streamline HR problems and processes that are unsolved or not yet optimized. - Obtain a broad understanding of the HR operating model and its departmental interdependencies. - Present to HR senior management. **Note:** The role and responsibilities of a Summer Analyst vary by group and are not limited to the items listed above. ## Qualifications and Skills - Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028. - Minimum GPA of 3.0. - Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. - Eagerness to experiment with AI tools to streamline HR processes. - Demonstrated ability to apply technical expertise to analysis, process improvement, or tool development. - Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, with strong attention to detail and sound judgment; able to handle sensitive information with discretion. - Strong time management and multitasking skills; ability to handle multiple responsibilities and projects with competing priorities and deadlines. - Problem-solving skills and ability to streamline processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Positive, can-do attitude; proactive, motivated, poised, and self-confident. ### Preferred Majors - Human Resources Management - Finance - Business Management - Economics - Organizational Development - Industrial Relations - Communications - Psychology ### Additional Coursework (Not Required) While not required, coursework or academic backgrounds in the following fields may provide additional perspective: - Engineering - Information Science - Statistics - Coding / Programming - Computer Science ## Work Authorization To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status. ## Application Process and Deadline - Apply with your resume through the Morgan Stanley website. - Complete the HireVue digital questionnaire. - Resumes are reviewed on a rolling basis until the role is filled or the application deadline, whichever comes first. - Submit applications by **September 25, 2026 at 11:55 PM EST**. - Complete HireVues by **September 27, 2026 at 11:55 PM EST** to be considered. ## Compensation The expected base pay rate for the role is **$35.10 per hour** at the commencement of employment.
