Our Helpdesk team is part of the Technical Services function, ensuring seamless operation of technical and administrative services and enhancing the employee experience in our EMEA offices. This role supports Tech Services by maintaining office efficiency, assisting with day-to-day office operations, performing basic troubleshooting, and helping with laptop setup, mobile configuration, and desk setups. ## Responsibilities - Support office layout changes by moving desks and equipment, including reconnecting computers, and testing basic network settings. - Provide Level 1 tech support for basic troubleshooting on Windows and Mac platforms. - Deliver friendly, proactive IT support and address employees’ basic technical needs. - Assist with mobile device configuration, account logins, and app setups, including basic troubleshooting for Windows and Mac systems as needed. - Ensure proper setup and functionality of office hardware; proactively assist with reconnecting and replacing faulty monitors, keyboards, mice, or other peripherals, and test network connectivity. - Provide proactive help for minor hardware issues. - Collaborate with the Tech Services team (Level 2+) or specialized personnel on more complex technical issues when necessary. - Maintain and update internal documentation related to office procedures and technology support. - Represent the Jump culture by providing exceptional customer service to visiting employees, first-time guests, and candidates. - Provide flexibility for occasional travel to other offices. - Perform other duties as assigned or needed. ## Skills You’ll Need - Strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat, proactive, service-oriented mindset. - Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - A team player who takes initiative and adapts quickly to change. - Good judgment and the ability to handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately. - Strong IT troubleshooting skills. - Interest in IT, with some hands-on experience or exposure to tech support (ideal for an aspiring IT enthusiast). - Knowledge of Windows 11 and macOS is desired. - Willingness to learn and grow technical knowledge over time. - This is an in-office position (5 days/week). - Reliable and predictable availability. ## Benefits - Private Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance - Travel Medical Insurance - Group Pension Scheme - Group Life Assurance and Income Protection Schemes - Paid Parental Leave - Parking and Commuter Benefits ## Applying to this role This Tech Services Helpdesk role at Jump Trading runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
