Many transactions are completed out-of-court, and involvement is often undisclosed. ## Related Experience - Represented more than 190 companies - Restructured approximately $420 billion of debt - Advised on mergers and acquisitions valued at over $21 billion - Raised over $61 billion in financing ## Areas of Experience - Renegotiating credit facilities - Obtaining covenant waivers and amendments - Consummating exchange offers, tender offers, and consent solicitations - Raising capital (bank loans, second lien, DIP financings, high yield, mezzanine loans, private equity, and strategic investments) - Selling non-core assets or entire companies - Effectuating cross-border and international restructurings - Providing expert valuation and related testimony - Pre-packaged / pre-arranged Chapter 11 cases - Traditional restructurings under Chapter 11 ## What You’ll Be Doing Analysts will participate in the CY’27 Training Program in August for three weeks in NYC. Responsibilities may include: - Conducting industry research - Building financial models to analyze company projections or potential transactions - Drafting client presentation materials - Participating in client calls or meetings ## What We’re Looking For The primary role of the Analyst includes: - Supporting deal teams in creating, maintaining, and utilizing complex financial models - Performing financial and valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow analysis and multiple valuation analysis - Conducting company and industry research to gain in-depth understanding of sector trends - Preparing client presentation materials in coordination with the internal deal team and clients - Developing a deep understanding of investment banking product and services ## What You’ll Bring - Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment - Excellent quantitative, interpretive, and analytical skills - Demonstrated leadership and a disciplined work ethic - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint - Significant exposure to finance and accounting - Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment with strong interpersonal skills - Superior attention to detail - Experience with financial modeling and analysis preferred - Well-rounded set of interests and involvement in extracurricular activities beyond academics, with leadership demonstrated through involvement ## Education & Experience - Pursuing an undergraduate degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027 - Minimum GPA of 3.5 or above - Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA - Resume must be submitted in PDF format (Word documents will not be accepted) - Authorization to work in the U.S. ## Systems & Technology - Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint ## Compensation Range Salary: USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $110,000.00/Yr. Actual salaries may vary and may be based on factors including candidate qualifications, skills, and overall competencies. The base salary is one component of Stifel’s overall compensation package.
