## Role details

## Overview

The BAM Fundamental L/S Equity Business is looking for interns to work on projects related to research, company due diligence, and data-driven idea generation. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge research at a leading hedge fund, offering hands-on experience in the public equity markets.

## Responsibilities

This role reports to a Fundamental L/S Equity Portfolio Manager. The intern will primarily help with:

  
- Conducting deep fundamental research, including primary research, and supporting other data collection efforts
  
- Building and maintaining detailed company financial models
  
- Creating valuation analyses and writing company and industry reports
  
- Taking on ad-hoc industry-related projects

## Qualifications & Requirements

  
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field
  
- Expected graduation date between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028
  
- Strong modeling and analytical skills; programming skills are a plus
  
- Ability to communicate effectively, with excellent reading comprehension and writing skills
  
- Creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
  
- Passion for financial markets
