The overall objective of this role is to foster customer relationships to build loyalty and help increase sales to individual consumer clients. ## Responsibilities - Work with business credit requests under $250K; recognize and refer larger lending opportunities; cross-sell treasury and related small business products. - Build referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program. - Assist with strategies to grow small business clients and implement sales plans targeting Book of Business customers. - Provide client services through outbound calls and inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing relationships by cross-selling relevant products and services while delivering a remarkable client experience. - Coach and guide Tellers and other branch staff on products and special programs; identify client needs and provide appropriate referrals. - Recognize client transaction needs, educate clients on service and digital channels, leverage available technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities, and present product offers and financial solutions. - Understand and comply with CitiBank policies, standards, and procedures. - Assess risk when making business decisions, with particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; adhering to policy; applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices; and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency. ## Qualifications - 0–2 years of relevant experience. - Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred. - Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies. - NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant. - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. ## Education - Bachelor’s degree/university degree or equivalent experience. ## Role Details - **Job Family Group:** Consumer Sales - **Job Family:** Branch Sales - **Time Type:** Full time - **Primary Location:** Bronx, New York, United States - **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $61,280.00 - $85,520.00 This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
