## About the Hiring Team

Tencent Overseas IT has the mission to empower Tencent’s rapid global growth with future-ready, global IT platforms, applications, and services. The team is chartered to lead Overseas IT strategy, architecture, roadmap, and execution. Satisfying internal and external customers and becoming a world-class global IT team are top aspirations.

## What the Role Entails

  
- Assist in day-to-day operations, system maintenance, and cost analysis for Tencent’s overseas game services and technical platform.
  
- Support high-availability efforts for Tencent’s overseas account storage systems, including routine health checks.
  
- Help improve monitoring and alerting coverage to enhance operational efficiency across overseas platforms.
  
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external teams to support cross-functional operations tasks.

## Who We Look For

  
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  
- Basic familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems. Experience with Shell or Python scripting is a plus.
  
- General awareness of cloud platforms (e.g., Tencent Cloud, AWS). Exposure to Kubernetes concepts is a bonus.
  
- Basic understanding of MySQL and Redis. Hands-on database experience is preferred.
  
- Strong sense of ownership, clear logical thinking, collaborative mindset, and willingness to take on challenging tasks.
  
- Familiarity with AI-assisted programming tools. Candidates with hands-on experience in AI-powered development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools) are preferred.
