The overall objective of this role is to foster customer relationships to build loyalty and help increase sales to individual consumer clients. ## Responsibilities - Assist in basic account opening for existing customers. - Provide service delivery to internal and external customers to resolve account service issues. - Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures. - Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate. - Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively. - Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, and similar efforts. - Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures, to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets. - Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; adhering to policy; applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices; and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency. ## Qualifications - 1–3 years of relevant experience. - Previous retail banking or similar experience required. - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. ## Education - High school diploma or equivalent. ## Additional Information - **Job Family Group:** Consumer Sales - **Job Family:** Branch Sales - **Time Type:** Part time - **Primary Location:** Syosset, New York, United States ## Compensation (Where Applicable) - **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $50,030.00 - $65,270.00 - **Note:** Salary shown is for full-time positions and will be prorated for part-time hires based on number of hours worked. - **Hourly rate corresponding to the annual range:** $24.05 - $31.37 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
