The Finance team plays a key role in supporting Apple’s growth by applying innovation to financial matters, collaborating with teams across the world, and driving informed decisions and strategy execution. You will be part of the APAC Retail Finance team, working cross-functionally with regional Retail Commercial, WW Retail Finance, and Global Retail Support (GRS) to drive business insights and strategic decision-making through analysis, engagement, and observation. This role is critical for evaluating promotional investments, forecasting and analyzing business performance, and delivering actionable insights to support revenue growth and margin optimization. We are seeking a finance analyst with strong influencing skills, deep analytical capabilities, strong financial/quantitative skills, interest in Apple’s business and strategy, and polished communication skills. ## Responsibilities - Create tools and processes to analyze commercial sales, program performance, and the performance of business initiatives. - Perform forecasting and scenario modeling. - Provide deep insights and analytics to support APAC growth opportunities. - Build strong cross-functional partnerships with APAC Retail Commercial, GRS, Store teams, GBS, and other corporate functions. - Collaborate with Retail Finance teams from other geographies to ensure the implementation of best practices. ## Minimum Qualifications - Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, articulate key messages concisely, and provide sound financial and business recommendations. - Patience, maturity, and strong problem-solving skills when navigating ambiguity. - Strong cross-functional collaboration mindset, with a desire to learn and build relationships in a high-performance environment. - Proven track record of building effective partnerships. - Demonstrated ability to contribute to complex projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. - High level of accountability, ownership, and initiative, with a drive to make an impact. - Experience with data visualization and analytical tools such as Tableau, DataKit, and SQL. - Familiarity with Gen AI tools is a plus. ## Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or above in a quantitative field. ## Applying to this role This Retail Finance Analyst role at Apple runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
