## Description

**What a College Intern - Electrical Hardware Engineering does at HP:**

  
- Acquire practical experience working on electronics/electrical design and testing.
  
- Work closely with the R&D team to develop practical test boards in a true R&D environment based on required product requirements.
  
- Generate useful test scripts to support an automated test environment.

## Required Qualifications

- An undergraduate or relevant education background in electrical or electronics engineering.
  
- Ability to commit to a 5 to 6-month full-time internship, starting in January 2027.
  
- Basic knowledge of CAD software for schematic capture.
  
- Basic programming knowledge and hands-on experience.
  
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  
- Ability to work independently (self-driven) and within a team environment.
  
- Knowledge of electronic principles.

## Areas of Interest

  
- Electronics circuit and system design.
  
- PCB design and fabrication of test boards.
  
- Test automation development using scripting (e.g., Python/Visual Basic).
  
- Practical experience in AI/ChatGPT application development to support engineering problem analysis.
