We recently raised a $250 million Series E round led by Andreessen Horowitz to accelerate this mission. ## About the Role This is a hands-on, commercially focused role on our legal team. You’ll partner day-to-day with and support our Legal Counsels to draft, negotiate, and close a high volume of contracts, and to support our deal desk. It’s an ideal opportunity for an early-career attorney who wants to build deep commercial contracting expertise at a rapidly scaling SaaS company and grow alongside our legal function. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and triaging a large number of contracts and requests at any given time. We’re seeking a candidate who is equally comfortable prioritizing velocity or meticulous attention to detail, as circumstances merit, and who has a strong instinct for how to effectively balance these competing priorities. Because this role centers on contracts and deal support, we’re looking for someone with strong drafting instincts, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to get up to speed quickly on new agreement types and business needs. If you’re excited by the opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing company with a cutting-edge product, we’d love to hear from you. ## Key Responsibilities - Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS customer agreements, order forms, partner and reseller agreements, vendor and procurement contracts, NDAs, and data processing agreements. - Help establish contracting and organizational processes that allow us to move with greater efficiency as we scale. - Serve as a point of contact for our Sales and Partnerships teams, gathering context so agreements can be drafted accurately and efficiently. - Support deal desk operations, including managing contract intake, review, and approval workflows, and helping deals move efficiently to signature. - Improve contract templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and negotiation guidelines to help the team scale. - Speak with customers and counterparties to resolve questions and keep negotiations moving. - Take on other ad hoc projects as needed. ## Move at Rocket Speed We’re scaling fast and solving real client problems with precision and ambition. If you’re hungry, driven, and ready to build something massive, climb aboard. ## Requirements ### Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) degree (or foreign equivalent), with a strong record of academic achievement. - Admitted to practice law in New York State with good standing, or willing and able to waive into New York. - ~1–3 years of legal experience (at a law firm and/or in-house) involving commercial and transactional work. ### Skills - Ability to effectively and clearly communicate with customers and other outside parties. - Strong legal drafting skills. - Strong legal research capability: ability to reliably and thoroughly source data/information, interpret it, add necessary context, and provide actionable recommendations or guidance to decision makers. - Highly organized with rigorous attention to detail. - Sufficient mathematical aptitude and financial literacy to effectively partner with Sales and Finance. ### Mindset - Comfortable owning deadlines with minimal supervision while also taking instruction and working closely with others. - Enthusiastic, can-do approach; excited to work hard at a fast-growing startup. - Startup mindset, strong sense of ownership, and a proper balance of quality and sense of urgency. - Willingness to work in person at NYC headquarters 4–5 days a week. ## Why Join Growth and impact.
