## General Summary

Qualcomm is looking for an Engineering Technician to support its Tesfloor and lab operations. The ideal candidate has exposure to a Test Semiconductor Manufacturing environment and at least 2 years of experience working on different ATE platforms. Experience troubleshooting and resolving test setup issues is required.

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following test equipment is required: Advantest and Teradyne testers, handlers, and probers. Strong communication skills are also required to work with engineers and generate reports.

## Responsibilities

The role provides line sustaining support for both the test floor and the engineering laboratory. Responsibilities include:

  
- Supporting testing of devices/wafers based on instructions from test engineers.
  
- Ensuring equipment is maintained in optimal condition by performing required PM/Cal.
  
- Supporting test and bench setup, which may include reconfiguring instruments and swapping/replacing boards to meet specific requirements.
  
- Debugging test and bench hardware.
  
- Handling additional specific assignments as assigned.

## Requirements

  
- Diploma in Engineering, preferably Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering.
  
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a test semiconductor manufacturing environment.

## Minimum Qualifications

  
- Associate’s degree.
  
- OR High School diploma or equivalent, plus 1+ year of Engineering Technician or related work experience.

## Physical Requirements

  
- Frequently transports and installs equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.
