BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking is a globally recognised leader offering capital markets, securities services, financing, treasury and advisory solutions. ## Job Purpose The role is to assist senior team members in day-to-day business activities and contribute to a variety of tasks, providing a general introduction to the Research and Cash Equities business. ## Key Responsibilities - Support the team head on all research tasks as an Analyst in the EMEA Equity Research business - Perform financial analysis and financial statement modelling - Monitor market trends, databases, and industry developments - Contribute to idea generation - Participate in written products, from quick briefs on earnings results or strategic events to more in-depth, original thought pieces - Attend and listen to client and sales meetings - Produce marketing materials for clients - Collaborate with the lead analyst and product management to generate and deliver a strong product pipeline - Help improve team infrastructure and processes with new ideas and tools - Communicate industry and stock views to sales, trading, institutional investor clients, management teams, and other stakeholders - Work with Research stakeholders internally (e.g., sales, traders, specialist sales) and externally (e.g., corporates and clients) ## Requirements - Degree from a leading university with an excellent academic record, or equivalent work experience - Good understanding of financial markets - Curious and eager to learn - Confident verbal and written communication and networking skills - Proficient with MS Office tools, including Excel - Strong organisational skills, multitasking ability, and time management - Strong analysis and judgement - Meticulous accuracy with a keen eye for detail - Team player with a proactive, independent, enthusiastic self-starter mindset and strong interpersonal skills - Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage ## Conduct - Be a role model by supporting and fostering a culture of good conduct - Demonstrate proactivity, transparency, and accountability for identifying and managing conduct risks - Consider the implications of your actions on colleagues - Embody and practice Group values, including alignment with the Bank’s strategy, commitment, work ethic, integrity, and the Code of Conduct ## Additional Information - You may only apply to four Long Term Internships over the course of a year (across any business area). - Successful candidates for this long-term internship will be considered for London only. - Please discuss the available start dates with your interviewers. - Unsuccessful candidates’ CVs will be shared with other teams within BNP Paribas and considered for potentially suitable roles within the relevant recruitment round. ## Location & Duration - Location: London - Duration: 14 months ## Applying to this role This London – Long Term Internship 2026 - Equity Research EMEA - Utilities role at BNP Paribas runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
