Our legacy is rooted in innovation and excellence, earning us recognition as one of Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies and as one of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Companies to Work For in 2024. ## Responsibilities As a Real Estate Summer Analyst Intern with Hines, you will: - Gain hands-on experience by working with an assigned team specializing in specific functions within Commercial Real Estate Investment Management and/or Development. - Assist with the underwriting and lease analysis of new projects and the asset management of operating properties. - Provide research support by gathering data on newly available properties, transactions, tenants, and new developments, and inputting data into appropriate databases. - Support possible assignments including new development projects, acquisitions and dispositions, and asset management. - Work on Hines’s top-quality assets with daily exposure to highly seasoned real estate professionals. - Contribute to processes and decisions that impact Hines’ world-renowned properties through market research, due diligence, financial analysis, and other responsibilities. ## Qualifications **Minimum Requirements include:** - Students from any academic discipline will be considered; however, strong math and quantitative aptitude is required. - Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Argus experience is a plus, but not required. - Creative problem-solving skills. - Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects. - Current second-year and third-year students will be considered, along with final-year students who will be immediately entering a graduate program. ## Closing At Hines, excellence is driven by the belief that real estate is fundamentally about people.
