## Protein Vendor Manager

We are looking for a talented Protein Vendor Manager (VM) responsible for managing vendor relationships across all Amazon banners and setting the strategic direction for their vendors. The ideal candidate has experience in buying, marketing, and/or finance, with a strong track record in relationship management, analytical acumen, and experience generating and managing data. Strong communication skills and proficiency with Excel are essential. This role is ideal for a self-starter who takes ownership of projects and business problems to deliver results.

## Key Job Responsibilities

  
- Drive strategic negotiations with vendors and represent Amazon when meeting with vendor partners and their leadership.
  
- Develop long-term strategies and significantly influence cross-category plans, delivering on Amazon’s goals and objectives while maintaining a strong customer focus.
  
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and assigned vendors.
  
- Create opportunities for growth, customer acquisition, and brand building.
  
- Regularly audit metrics to determine and prioritize business opportunities, identify risks, and make recommendations to deliver results.
  
- Identify industry trends and develop innovative marketing and merchandising initiatives to support growth.

## Basic Qualifications

  
- 1+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience.
  
- Bachelor’s degree.
  
- Experience using Excel and other business analytic tools.

## Preferred Qualifications

  
- Experience in online retail.
  
- Experience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML.
  
- Experience managing external vendors, distributors, partners, or learning providers.

## Compensation (Base Salary Range)

  
- USA, NY, New York: $66,300 - $103,400 USD annually
  
- USA, VA, Arlington: $53,700 - $94,000 USD annually
  
- USA, WA, Seattle: $80,200 - $94,000 USD annually
