With opportunities to deepen expertise and accelerate development, talent at Millennium is equipped to adapt, evolve, and build lasting impact over time. ## Planned Start June 2027 ## Estimated Duration 10 weeks ## Meet the Team The Compliance team plays a critical role in ensuring that the firm adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies while supporting the firm’s trading businesses: Equities, Quantitative Strategies, Fixed Income, and Commodities. ## Role Overview As a Compliance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in monitoring trading activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the firm’s operational integrity. This internship offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate across teams, and contribute to the compliance framework of a leading global hedge fund. ## What You’ll Do - Support the team with daily tasks and projects, including maintaining compliance files and records while learning about regulatory and recordkeeping requirements. - Contribute to the development and refinement of policies and procedures to help ensure alignment with regulatory standards. - Conduct transaction reviews, surveillance, and internal investigations to help identify and address compliance issues. - Prepare detailed transaction review and surveillance reports, providing insights to senior compliance management. - Work alongside senior compliance professionals on regulatory interactions and assist in preparing filings and reports to gain exposure to broader compliance operations. ## What You Bring - Expected to graduate between December 2027 and July 2028. - Cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above. - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. - Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and situations. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Familiarity with AI tools and technologies, with an interest in building and supporting AI-driven workflows. - Availability to commit fully to the internship for the full program duration. ## Applying to this role This 2027 Compliance Intern, Hong Kong role at Millennium runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
