## Customer Service Associate (CSA) — Great Neck Branch

**Summary:** Dime Commercial Bank (Dime) is currently hiring a Customer Service Associate (CSA) at its Great Neck Branch in Long Island. The CSA will ensure accurate completion of customer requests and services, respond to inquiries in a timely fashion, and process routine bank transactions. Prior experience as a Universal Banker, Relationship Banker, Customer Service Associate/Representative, or Financial Service Associate is a plus.

**Compensation:** The hourly wage minimum is $22 and the maximum is $29. Exact pay may vary based on skills, experience, training, licenses/certifications, language necessities, and location.

## Responsibilities

  
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, money orders, cash advances, cashier’s checks, and night drop bags.
  
- Reconcile cash drawer by proving cash transactions, counting, and packaging currency and coins.
  
- Perform account services for all Dime customers.
  
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide in-depth knowledge of Dime products and services to deliver appropriate solutions.
  
- Support business development efforts of the Branch Manager through in-branch sales, phone, and direct mailing campaigns.
  
- Report under the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), including Currency Transaction Reports (CTR), Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR), and Dime internal Suspicious Activity Tracking Reports.
  
- Perform New Account and File Maintenance reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity of data for SOX 404 purposes.
  
- Maintain current knowledge of bank regulatory requirements.
  
- Identify opportunities for and service clients with consumer and commercial lending needs; refer them to the appropriate department.
  
- Make decisions within the scope of authority (e.g., overdrafts, overrides, signature guarantees) in the absence of managers.
  
- Cross-train on both the teller window and banking platform as required.

## Qualifications

  
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  
- Minimum 1 year of retail banking experience required. Prior experience as a Universal Banker, Relationship Banker, Customer Service Associate/Representative, or Financial Service Associate is a plus.
  
- Cash-handling experience preferred.
  
- Excellent customer service skills.
  
- Advanced PC, network, email, and internet experience; proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and transaction research preferred.
  
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve customer issues.
  
- Thorough understanding of compliance and record-keeping requirements.
