## Role details

## Client Technical Support (German or French) — London

Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Limited, part of IBKR’s global online financial brokerage services, is seeking a candidate to join the Client Technical Support Team in London, with German or French as an additional language. You will assist clients with inquiries across our trading offerings and act as a liaison between internal teams and clients to help ensure prompt, effective resolution of bugs and technical issues.

The ideal candidate is analytical, enjoys problem-solving and troubleshooting technical and software issues, and can recognize, investigate, and escalate client-reported issues related to our platforms.

## Responsibilities

  
- Provide client support via phone, chat, and tickets
  
- Deliver technical and functional support for the Interactive Brokers platform
  
- Support desktop applications (Windows, macOS, and Linux)
  
- Support mobile applications (Android and iOS)
  
- Troubleshoot and support Interactive Brokers’ web-based offerings
  
- Perform problem management with a focus on wide-scale technical issues

## Requirements

  
- Fluency in English and German or French (must); any other European language is a plus
  
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred, ideally in a technical field)
  
- 2+ years’ experience in a client-facing support role
  
- 2+ years’ experience working with Windows and macOS software support and connectivity support
  
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  
- Experience working with support ticketing systems
  
- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing technical environment
  
- Initiative and a desire to learn new skills and technologies while staying current with industry trends
  
- A genuine passion for solving technical problems
  
- Experience with financial products and services is a plus
