## Job Description

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development, and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future.

The intern will be responsible for:

  
- Assisting the Shift Engineers and Operation Lead in the daily management of DC Operations and Periodic Preventive Maintenance Management to ensure 100% uptime of critical DC M&E systems.
  
- Assisting with briefings and handovers to the Shift Duty Technician on all outstanding issues and Standing Instructions from the Operation Lead, Assistant Manager, and Manager.
  
- Conducting daily routine checks based on a predetermined checklist to ensure there are no environmental abnormalities and that all critical M&E-related systems are in good working condition.

- Understand Data Centre Operations and the importance of uptime.
  
- Understand and manage clients, customers, and vendors.

## Job Requirements

  
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities/Building Management, or an equivalent field of study.
  
- Ability to understand and appreciate electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment, such as transformers, generators, fuel systems, UPS systems, chillers, air handling units, chilled water plants, fire alarm systems, and fire suppression systems.
  
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
