## What a College Intern - Quality Engineering Does at HP

  
- Learn and apply basic quality assurance principles and inspection methods.
  
- Assist in integrating quality requirements into product design and manufacturing processes.
  
- Support the development of test strategies; participate in test execution and documentation.
  
- Help track and report quality metrics, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
  
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities under supervision.
  
- Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions on quality improvements and process enhancements.
  
- Collect and organize data from testing and production to identify trends and support decision-making.
  
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on assigned tasks and projects.

## Qualifications

  
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  
- Able to commit to a full-time internship for 5–6 months, starting in January 2027.
  
- Strong interest in quality assurance, product development, or manufacturing.
  
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and data analysis.
  
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools.
  
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment.
  
- Exposure to quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), root cause analysis, or process improvement.
  
- Knowledge of basic testing or inspection tools.
  
- Interest in automation or data visualization tools.
