Our unwavering focus on our clients and strong financial foundation connects each of our enterprise businesses: Ameriprise Financial, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, and RiverSource Insurance and Annuities. ## Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Product Manager covering Product Management and Development across the UK pooled fund range. ## How You’ll Spend Your Time - Assist in the development and launch of new products for the UK market. - Manage the implementation of small changes to products and assist with major product change initiatives, including mergers and closures of funds, and the repositioning of existing funds for growth. - Contribute to good product governance through maintenance of product pipelines, run-books, meeting notes, and action logs. - Engage with stakeholders across the firm to facilitate successful outcomes. - Respond to product queries and support internal departments and external data vendors with information and data requests. - Provide support for the Director of UK Product Change & Development. - Work with senior Product colleagues to develop product knowledge and skills. ## To Be Successful in This Role You Will Have - **Numeracy:** the ability to compile, analyse, interpret, and present data clearly, accurately, and concisely. A capable user of Excel. - **Literacy and communication:** the ability to summarise key points and ideas in a variety of contexts and engage effectively with key stakeholders across the business; ability to draft effective shareholder communications and materials. - Proactive in applying artificial intelligence to improve product management processes and decision-making. - Well organised, diligent, and able to meet deadlines. - Willing to challenge and be challenged. ## It Would Be Great If You Also Had - Previous experience working in asset management or knowledge of life/pension funds, either in a Product role or a related function. - Investment-related qualifications (e.g., IMC) or a commitment to attaining such qualifications. ## In-Office Collaboration We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together in person is foundational to how we achieve results. Employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week.
