As a Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch, you will represent our brand and culture with hospitality, using modern banking solutions and financial technology alongside friendly, attentive service. You will lead the acquisition, management, and retention of meaningful client relationships, using your financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions that address client needs and support the success of the branch. ## Job Responsibilities - Put clients first and exceed expectations by delivering attentive, friendly service and creating a welcoming environment. - Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them in person and over the phone to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations. - Use clear, polite, consultative communication to understand client needs, build trust, ask questions, listen actively, and anticipate needs. - Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to support their banking needs whenever and however they want. - Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to consult with clients on banking solutions, and collaborate with and connect clients to our team of experts for specialized financial needs. - Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements. ## Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - 1+ year of sales experience in retail banking, financial services, or a related industry, with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results. - Ability to create memorable experiences for clients and elevate the client experience. - Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs. - Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail, providing a consistent client experience. - Ability to operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training. - High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent. - Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire (with study materials and support provided). - Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings. ## Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - College degree or military equivalent. - Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. ## Dodd-Frank / Truth in Lending Act & SAFE Act (Loan Originator / Mortgage Licensing) This position is subject to Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators.
