## Publicity Coordinator, Series PR

Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a talented, creative, and self-motivated publicity professional to join the Amazon MGM Studios Series PR team as a Publicity Coordinator. In this role, you will support the execution of publicity campaigns for Amazon Original Series and work closely with senior team members to navigate cross-functional initiatives and manage internal and external requests in a fast-paced environment.

This position is based in New York and reports to the Publicity Principal, while supporting the broader Series PR team at Amazon MGM Studios.

## Key Job Responsibilities

  
- Support senior PR team members on series campaigns, including building and managing talent itineraries, booking glam, coordinating travel, distributing and managing screener access, and compiling coverage reports
  
- Coordinate logistics for talent appearances for press and promotional purposes, both domestically and globally
  
- Support the execution of in-person and virtual press junkets and premiere events
  
- Help track and maintain series budgets and campaign success metrics
  
- Assist in developing written publicity materials
  
- Stay current on trends, issues, and news across the business and consumer worlds of television and entertainment
  
- Create new vendors and purchase orders; support purchase order troubleshooting

## A Day in the Life

You will interact with various internal and external stakeholders throughout each campaign. Responsibilities may include attending internal cross-team meetings, working with representatives for talent to arrange travel, coordinating glam/styling rates, facilitating media requests with tight deadlines, and supporting budget tracking across complex campaigns.

## Basic Qualifications

  
- 1+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
  
- Bachelor's degree
  
- Experience in the television or film industry, including assisting at an agency, studio, streamer, or network

## Preferred Qualifications

  
- Knowledge of entertainment industry trends and players
  
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing workload during stressful or escalated activity
  
- Willingness to work hard and deliver on challenging assignments, including tasks that may be outside the scope of the role
  
- Willingness and availability to travel and work extended hours, including weekends when necessary
  
- Extremely detail-oriented; able to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, technology-driven company
