You won’t just observe—you’ll help clients succeed and safeguard their legacy, while strengthening HSBC’s position as a trusted partner. ### Key Responsibilities - **Work with specialist teams:** learn how Relationship Managers partner with experts across the bank to grow client relationships and deliver tailored financial solutions. - **Get early exposure to clients:** build connections from the outset by learning about clients’ businesses and goals, and understanding how HSBC solutions (including sustainable supply chains and green bonds) can support success. - **Act as the link between HSBC and its clients:** support the team in developing deep client knowledge to help ensure HSBC delivers the right solutions at the right time. - **See collaboration in action:** work with teams across geographies and functions, including Legal, Credit, and Risk. - **Get hands-on with real tasks:** help create client presentations, reports, and credit papers; support strategic reviews and pitches; and conduct financial analysis and risk assessments on client portfolios and transactions. ## Your Journey Your internship begins with a full week of structured training delivered by local and external experts to build the technical know-how you need to get started. By the end of the internship, you’ll have a solid understanding of relationship management within Corporate and Institutional Banking, how the area fits together, and where you could make your mark.
