## Work Schedule

Second Shift (Afternoons) — Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. 10% shift differential.

## Environmental Conditions

  
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.
  
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety standards.
  
- Cleanroom requirements: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc.
  
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (e.g., safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs).
  
- Exposure to strong odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products, etc.).
  
- Will work with hazardous/toxic materials.

**Pay Rate:** $20.00

Manufacturing Technician II, Liquid Formulation, 2nd shift — based in the Grand Island, NY site within the BioProduction Group.

Enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer by supporting manufacturing operations that help solve complex scientific challenges and support patient needs.

### A Day in the Life

  
- Use equipment including mixers, mills, blenders, pumps, filtration systems, packaging, and laboratory equipment.
  
- Weigh, measure, and check raw materials with the assistance of a computer interface to ensure batches contain accurate materials and quantities.
  
- Calibrate and operate manual, semi-automated, and automated manufacturing equipment; identify and conduct basic troubleshooting for equipment.
  
- Follow safe practices, policies, standard operating procedures, and work instructions in controlled environments up to and including classified clean rooms.
  
- Complete and maintain compliance with the Quality Management Systems and regulatory requirements.
  
- Complete moderately complex tasks related to manufacturing of cell culture media and perform related duties to meet business goals and requirements.

## Education

  
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  
- Formal training in Lean, 5S, or manufacturing processes is preferred.

## Experience

  
- 1+ years of experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice environment or manufacturing or related field is required.
  
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced work environment is strongly preferred.

## Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  
- General understanding of technical, mechanical, and machinery equipment is preferred. Basic computer skills are required.
  
- Strong attention to detail for complex instructions and documentation while maintaining quality output; demonstrated proficiency in multiple processes in a fast-paced work environment.
  
- Perform basic math and communicate effectively verbally and in writing with the team.
  
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 50 pounds; may be required to stand for extended periods. Ability to squat, bend, and reach to complete assigned tasks.
  
- Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including work uniform, steel toe shoes, hair net, beard guard (when required), safety glasses, and gloves. PPE may also include a bump cap, face shield, and full/half-face respirators.
  
- Availability to work overtime and flexible shift patterns.

## Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is **$17.85–$26.77**.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Total Rewards includes:
