## Assistant Relationship Manager

## Overview

The Assistant Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Relationship Managers within the Business & Corporate Banking division. This role balances client-facing, sales-driven activities with rigorous operational, credit, and administrative management.

## Responsibilities

  
- Assist Relationship Managers in managing a portfolio of corporate account relationships to maximize income.
  
- Handle administrative tasks for day-to-day portfolio management.
  
- Assist in preparing credit proposals and annual facility reviews for new and existing accounts.
  
- Proactively monitor market intelligence and clients’ financial health to preserve the bank’s asset quality and mitigate potential credit risks.
  
- Assist in seamless client onboarding, account opening, and execution of Know-Your-Customer (KYC) / Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures.
  
- Assist with SOP reviews, and the preparation of management reports and client meeting materials.

## Skills & Experience

  
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  
- Core or professional level qualification under the Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) for Banking Practitioners in Hong Kong is preferred.
  
- Minimum of 1–2 years of working experience in the financial services industry, ideally within commercial or corporate banking (fresh graduates are welcome).
  
- Solid foundational knowledge of banking operations, credit analysis, and Hong Kong legal/regulatory requirements.
  
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and proficiency in Mandarin.
