Interns will have the opportunity to develop skills at Binance and understand what it’s like to work at the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem. The program also offers networking and professional development opportunities to help expand your professional network and build transferable skills. ## Project Overview This internship is dedicated to developing and researching AI agent decision-quality assurance and continuous improvement for compliance and KYC-related initiatives. Core work includes applying statistical and data-analytical methods to perform root-cause analysis of AI agent decisions, as well as researching and developing model optimization algorithms to drive iterative project improvements. ## Responsibilities - Participate in and conduct research on decision-quality analysis and continuous improvement for the project - Develop and research statistical algorithms and machine learning models - Use SQL and Python to validate and build production applications of large language models (LLMs) - Extract and analyze data to validate hypotheses and deliver quantifiable, actionable conclusions with clear implementation directions - Assist in producing analytical reports and technical documentation; collaborate with the team to drive project progress ## Requirements - Master’s degree or above in a STEM field (CS, Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, EE, or related) - Python proficiency, including the ability to independently write data processing and analysis scripts (e.g., pandas, numpy) - At least one end-to-end project you drove from start to finish with a tangible deliverable - Statistics and machine learning fundamentals, including solid understanding of statistical models, ML model training, and classification evaluation metrics (precision, recall, confusion matrix, FP/FN) and their business implications - English reading and writing fluency (project documentation and code are in English) - Strong teamwork mindset and a sense of ownership/responsibility for the project - Experience using AI coding assistants (Copilot / Cursor / Claude / ChatGPT) on real projects with a verification mindset (not blindly trusting AI output) - Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agent projects - SQL data extraction experience - Background in financial risk, KYC, compliance, or anti-fraud If you can turn messy data into actionable conclusions, use AI to improve efficiency without taking outputs on faith, and operate with genuine ownership, we encourage you to apply. ## Who May Apply - Current university students and recent graduates - Terms of employment/engagement shall be subject to contract and local applicable laws ## Why Binance - Shape the future with the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem - Collaborate with world-class talent in a user-centric global organization with a flat structure - Tackle unique, fast-paced projects with autonomy in an innovative environment - Thrive in a results-driven workplace with opportunities for career growth and continuous learning - Competitive salary and company benefits - Work-from-home arrangement (may vary depending on the business team and work nature) ## Equal Opportunity Binance is committed to being an equal opportunity employer and believes that a diverse workforce is fundamental to its success.
