## Medicare Prescription Drug Specialist (L&H)

## Position Details

  
- Start date: August 24
  
- Contract role ending: December 15 (with possibility of permanent placement)
  
- Work arrangement: 100% fully remote
  
- Equipment: Provided
  
- Pay: $25/hr

## Schedule

  
- Training (2–3 weeks): Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm EST
  
- Outside annual enrollment: 9:00am–6:00pm EST
  
- Open enrollment: 8-hour shifts starting at 9:00am, 10:00am, or 11:00am EST

## Responsibilities

  
- Manage inbound calls and appointments from individuals inquiring about Medicare Part D plans.
  
- Support both new business and an existing book of business for Part D annual reviews.
  
- Identify client needs and match solutions to those needs.
  
- Provide quotes using Gallagher sales systems and carrier quoting tools.
  
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with prospective members.

## Qualifications

  
- Minimum high school diploma (or equivalent) and/or 1–2 years related experience.
  
- Must have an active Life & Health (Accident/Health) insurance license in your state of residency.
  
- Ability to get appointed as a licensed sales agent by multiple insurance carriers or be released if already appointed (e.g., UHC, Health Spring, Aetna, Golden Rule, Wellcare, etc.).
  
- Demonstrated proficiency with sales systems.
  
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  
- Ideal candidate: Medicare sales experience.
