The team provides extensive resources to staff each case and leverages broad client coverage and extensive experience to understand the dynamics of each restructuring situation and the needs, attitudes, and positions of all parties in interest. ## Scope The Financial Restructuring Group is expanding and is looking for an Off-Cycle Intern to be based in its London office. Interns work specifically with the group, assisting with a variety of transactions, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed mergers & acquisitions. ## Responsibilities As an Intern, you will work on projects that provide exposure to various financial advisory and investment banking products and industries, including: - Advising companies and stakeholders in out-of-court restructuring transactions - Providing advisory services in stressed and distressed situations - Participating in complex negotiations on behalf of clients - Providing distressed M&A advisory - Advising on debt and equity raising in the context of stressed and distressed situations Interns play a similar role to Financial Analysts and are typically members of deal teams comprising at least one managing director, director, vice president, associate, and financial analyst. ## Requirements / Qualifications The environment at Houlihan Lokey is results-driven and entrepreneurial, rewarding top performers with substantial responsibility and interaction with senior-level professionals and clients.
